Welcome back, everyone! The LGBT Center is gearing up for what looks to be an exciting Spring semester. For more information on all upcoming events and volunteer opportunities, be sure to come to Team MSQ meetings at 5pm in the LGBT Center. Here's a few things we can look forward to this semester.
The LGBTC will be hosting a Queer Bowling night on Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 5-7pm. Please sign up in the LGBT Center.
"For the Bible Tells Me So" will be showing in Mankato on January 29th and 31th at the Maverick 4 theater in downtown Mankato, and on the MSU, Mankato campus on January 30th in Ostrander Auditorium. All showings are at 7:00. We are proud to be a co-sponsor with a variety of fantastic LGBT allied churches and other LGBT organizations to bring this inspiring and important movie to our community. A GLBT and Allies Caucus Training will be hosted by the HRC and Minnasota Outfront on Jan. 29 in CSU 204 at MSU from 4:30-6:00 pm. Minnesota's precinct caucuses will be held on Feb. 5th, so it's time to get ready to ensure the LGBT voice is heard. Click here to RSVP!

The LGBT PRIDE DANCE has been rescheduled for February 9th at 8:00 at the VFW Morson Ario. 1900 Riverfront Drive. $5.00 at the door. Must be 18 to enter, 21 to drink.
Check out the LGBT student action group, TEAM MSQ! MSQ is the student action group that advises, plans, and implements all things LGBT on campus. From campus awareness and education to event planning and entertainment, Team MSQ is a part of it all!

SAGE (sexuality and gender equality) is a coalition of lgbtqa individuals working together to combat sexuality and gender inequality, homophobia, heterosexism and hate on the MSU, on campus and in the community. SAGE is a student organization which thrives on activism and grassroots organizing. Meetings are Mondays at 5pm in the LGBTC.
