Hello everyone. We'd like to remind you all that next Tuesday, the Minnesota Caucuses are being held. Be sure to get to your caucus location (Mankato East for Democrats and Republicans, Mankato West for Independents, Green party is caucusing March 5th at an unannounced location, and the Constitution Party is meeting in the New Ulm Civic Arena Feb. 2). Let's make sure the LGBT voice is being heard!
There are no night classes, but Team MSQ will be meeting to start our planning for The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As many of you know, MSU Mankato is hosting the third annual Minnesota Out! Campus Conference. This is going to be a big event for us, so we'll need your help throughout this semester and the next to get ready for it. The first thing we need to do is decide on a theme, so start thinking about possible themes, and we will begin discussing them at the next MSQ meeting.
"For the Bible Tells Me So" will be showing in Mankato on January 26 and 28th at the Maverick 4 Theater in downtown Mankato, and on the MSU, Mankato campus on January 27th in Ostrander Auditorium. All showings are at 7:00. We are proud to be a co-sponsor with a variety of fantastic LGBT allied churches and other LGBT organizations to bring this inspiring and important movie to our community. A panel discussion will follow each show. To learn more about the film visit the "For the Bible Tells Me So" website.
TJ Leyden, an ex neo-Nazi will be speaking on Feb 18th at 7pm in the CSU ballroom for Hate Hurts Day. Having spent 15 years as a neo-Nazi, TJ Leyden transformed his life, becoming one of the strongest advocates for tolerance and acceptance of diverse individuals.

Our friends at the Women's Center would like to invite everyone to The Vagina Monologues.
A benefit production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues", is coming soon. Part of the V-Day College Campaign, "The Vagina Monologues" is a play written by Eve Ensler that brings attention to the many ways in which women's lives and experiences are maneuvered.
It is about reclaiming the strength and wisdom of our bodies, our sexualities, and our lived experiences as meaningful, insightful and essential means to our liberation. It recognizes the worth and participation of women transnationally to bring awareness to many crucial and often controversial issues surrounding women's fight for social justice. As a part of the campus campaign it encourages its volunteers to think and feel deeply about the important role of women's activism in bringing about social change.
There will be two benefit performances this year on February 14th and February 15th. Both are at 8 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium in the Centennial Student Union. Tickets go on sale on January 24th, 2008 in the CSU lobby and in 218 CSU, the Women's Center. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for all others. For more information, please contact Lauren Pilnick in the Women's Center at (507) 389-5127 or stop by 218 CSU(Women's Center).
