Caucus night was absolutely amazing this year! Students and community came together for what was probably the largest caucus turnout ever in Mankato. Whatever side you were one, whomever you voted for, thank you for being a part of the political process and ensuring that LGBT people are heard and recognized.
Also, the movie event, "For the Bible Tells Me So" was an enormous success! The theaters were packed each night, and on the last night, they even had to open a second room to accommodate everyone, and both rooms were still packed! The discussions were great, and the shear amount of people attending shows that this is a subject in desperate need of discussion. Thanks again to all who came.

Our friends at the Women's Center would like to invite everyone to The Vagina Monologues.
A benefit production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues", is coming soon. Part of the V-Day College Campaign, "The Vagina Monologues" is a play written by Eve Ensler that brings attention to the many ways in which women's lives and experiences are maneuvered.
It is about reclaiming the strength and wisdom of our bodies, our sexualities, and our lived experiences as meaningful, insightful and essential means to our liberation. It recognizes the worth and participation of women transnationally to bring awareness to many crucial and often controversial issues surrounding women's fight for social justice. As a part of the campus campaign it encourages its volunteers to think and feel deeply about the important role of women's activism in bringing about social change.
There will be two benefit performances this year on February 14th and February 15th. Both are at 8 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium in the Centennial Student Union.
