Eliminate Hate Keynote Speaker, Esera Tuaolo

Over 500 people attended the lecture by Esera Tuaolo Tuesday, April 5th. One of the best attended LGBT events ever at MSU. Esera's compelling stories and passionate delivery was both inspiring and fascinating. So moving, the audience gave him a standing ovation at the end of his lecture. Before and after the event, LGBT students, staff and allies enjoyed hanging out with Esera at a reception and dinner. This was truly an awesome night to be queer at MSU!

Squash Hate Week

The LGBTC spent April 3-9th squashing hate and homophobia on campus. Squash Buttons and Tshirts were given out as prizes, (along with Squash brownies!) Squash events, workshops, panels, movies, and SAGE's staged reading of the Laramie Project rounded out the week's busy schedule. It takes more than a week to squash out all the -isms, but we gave it our best effort.
