ATM Card

Use your MavCard as an ATM card to gain access to your TCF account

TCF is a member of the PLUS® ATM network. Anywhere you see the ® logo, you can use your MavCard to make transactions on your account (the TCF Express Teller® logo is printed on the back of all MavCards that are linked to an TCF account).

Debit Card

All TCF MavCard's come with the ability to make purchases from your account by using your MavCard. This is made possible because of Interlink.

Interlink

Anywhere you see this logo displayed, nationwide, you can use your MavCard to make a purchase. Interlink is an on-line point of sales (POS) debit network. It works very similar to the way a VISA check card works, but with important differences. First, when you swipe your card at the place you wish to make a purchase, you must type in your PIN to authorize the transaction. This is for security reasons, if you loose your card, no one will be able to spend money out of your account without your PIN. Second, an Interlink transaction is a lot more secure than a VISA check card transaction. Interlink is on-line and debits your account immediately. Because you enter your PIN, you don't have to sign a receipt. There's no paper trail for the transaction and no receipt that needs to mailed into a VISA.

On-Campus Locations
to make Interlink Purchases:

Your MavCard is a debit card, NOT a credit card. You need to have enough money in your TCF checking account to make a purchase.

Your MavCard Bank Stripe purchases, ATM transactions, deposits and fees are detailed on your TCF checking account monthly statement. This statement will be mailed to you on a monthly basis.
