Winter and spring are times of strong, sometimes unpredictable, weather. It is important for students to understand what to do during weather emergencies. That is why these weeks will focus on how students can protect themselves while driving and during severe spring storms.

Monday, February 3 - Thursday, February 6: Crashed Car

The crashed car will be sitting in the CSU Mall until the Jaws of Life is performed on it.

When and Where:

All day in the CSU Mall

Thursday, February 6: Jaws of Life

The crashed car will now have the Jaws of Life performed on it.

When and Where:

12:00 p.m. in the CSU Mall

Tuesday, April 22: What Would Happen at MSU?/ CERT Presentation

Several different speakers will discuss what would happen if there was a natural disaster on campus. Speakers would include a member of the strategic response team, Campus Security, and the administrative response team. Following these speakers, there would be a presentation about the Community Emergency Response Team and how audience members could get involved. p>

Thursday, April 24: Before and After of Severe Weather

Different sections of the CSU North Ballroom will contain scenes before, during, and after severe weather along. In each section, there will be information about what to do to prevent injuries caused by the natural disaster at each stage.
