GRE Reduction

If you did not qualify for McNair as low–income, first–generation, and you have a McNair GRE fee reduction:

• You must mail your fee reduction and an authorization voucher request form to ETS.
  • Copies can be obtained in the McNair Office. In addition, the authorization voucher request form may be downloaded:
    GRE Voucher Request Form.

Mail the fee reduction and the completed form to:

ETS–CBT Box 371859 Pittsburgh, PA 15250–7859

If you qualified for McNair as low–income, first–generation:

• Obtain an Institutional Student Information Report and need–based fee reduction from the Financial Aid office.
• Mail both documents along with the authorization voucher request form to the above address.
• The authorization voucher request form may be downloaded:
  GRE Voucher Request Form.

Approximately two weeks after mailing your materials, you will receive a voucher in the mail. You may then call 1-800-473-2255 to schedule your appointment.

Please note that the McNair office cannot reimburse you if you register online with a credit card.
