"Though not a life threatening event, when one of my teeth broke apart my dentist, Dr. James Simpson, along with dental assistant, Irina Simpson, both came in on their day off to patch up the tooth. I could of survived until Monday of the next week but they chose to bend their schedule to accommodate my need. That agressive customer service approach, though it wasn't exactly a "house call," greatly impressed me. No doubt my faith in their work will last longer than my latest self-imposed ban against chewing hard candy."

"We Try Harder" award certificates are issued quarterly to individuals, programs, departments, companies, and organizations that actively promote quality. Applications are easily completed forms where customers can identify the person(s) to be honored and highlight one or more examples of quality service efforts. Customers, chief executive officers, employees, and department heads, are all encouraged to submit applications (Program title changed November, 2003 to "Above and Beyond").

Julie Caraway, an employee of Partnersfor Affordable Housing and its Welcome Inn emergency housing effort, on a "face to face" 24 hour a day "on call" basis has heled huneds of homeless and those mother with children seeking shelter from domestic abuse. Thank you, Julie!
