Cressy’s Group Reflections

Our group had an altogether positive experience. Cressy had a lot of interesting information, and we enjoyed learning about her and had many laughs throughout the process. We especially enjoyed her many exciting stories about traveling. She seems to have led a very fun-filled and interesting life, especially with all her siblings and the responsibilities she had.

Some challenges with the project were that it was very time consuming and we couldn’t leave anything to the last minute. Yet it was rewarding to learn about Cressy’s history in a one-on-one setting. Through conducting an oral history interview, we learned more than we could have learned in any kind of history book about women. Our group worked very well together. We really enjoyed doing the interview and project and all in all it was a very good experience.
