This reflection is on Della. She is the type of person that makes your heart melt. She is a very hard working woman and has had a good life. This project allowed us to really see how women had to struggle to get us to where we are today. We feel that we have learned a tremendous amount of information from these women that we can carry along with us. This woman showed us how much easier we have it now compared to back then. She also showed us how much we take for granted. We enjoyed listening to her many stories about chores, school, and Christmas. She gave us insight on how different things have become. She let us into her life and gave us hope for the future. We have great respect for her. We thank her for the trust she has given us throughout the project and for sharing a piece of her life with us. We hope that this inspires other girls to find information on their grandparents or other women that they look up to. This project showed us how far we have come and how much further we can still go.
