Rima Blazevicius was born on October 31, 1958 in Simnas Lithuania. She has two brothers and two sisters and is the oldest sibling. Her parents were Vytautas Blazevicius and Janina Blazeviciene. Her family did not have a lot of money, but they were not poor.

After high school, Rima went to college and got a math degree. When she finished college she became a math teacher for two years and then became the principal at a local high school.

Rima feels that education for both males and females is very important, and in Lithuania, almost everyone goes to college after high school instead of getting jobs right away. While she was teaching, she had her first child, Amenthes, and the second one, Aiva, came soon after. She continued to teach after she had her children and she and her husband took turns staying home with the children when one was sick.

When Rima and her husband got divorced, she decided to move to the United States. She already had two sisters living here and she loved to travel and had always wanted to live in the U.S. She decided it was a great time to move.

When she came to the United States in 2000, she got a job working on the Lenzen farm and lived in the house with the family. She helped out with milking and did most of the housework. She then married the farmer Bruce Lenzen and is now an American citizen. Soon after she came to America her daughter Aiva came to live with her and became a citizen as well. A few years later her son Amenthes and his two sons came as well. Rima is currently living on the farm with Bruce and her son Amenthes and his two kids, and she now works at Target as a sales representative.  She continues to visit Lithuania about once or twice a year to see family and friends.
