Our group definitely enjoyed doing this project and was able to gain valuable information out of the interview that we conducted. We were really able to get good insight into what life was like back seventy or eighty years ago. It was very easy for us to find a woman to interview, considering one of our group member's grandmother lives here in Mankato. She is someone who was able to help us in any way possible. She was very open and honest about everything that we talked about.
Looking into the life of someone who lived a completely different era then we do today, was the most fulfilling part of this project. We were able to learn about life from an insider instead of what people just see from the outside. We had many challenges along the way with this project, but overall the positives outweighed the negatives. The most enjoyable part of this project was doing the actual interview with Ruth and looking at pictures. The most challenging part was learning to work with the computers and media clips to make our website. Overall, we can say that this has been one of the most interesting projects all of us have participated in.
