Providing Research Opportunities and Solutions to Problems Facing
Business, Industry, Education, Health Care, and Environment
Big ideas, real-world solutions at work
How can a business know when and were to construct a new facility? How can a hospital prepare to deal with a pandemic virus? How can a dairy farmer investigate the environmental impact of building in a new area? How can a community know if proposed transportation changes will be safe? How can a region attract more business, create more jobs, and stimulate the regional economy?
Real-world solutions to many of the questions facing government, industry and education are available right here, at the Minnesota Modeling and Simulation Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato. The Center, the only one of its kind in the Upper Midwest, brings together experts from different fields who use their predictive expertise to solve problems from an interdisciplinary approach. That allows for more accurate predictions and more robust solutions than can be offered from any one field alone.
The Minnesota Modeling and Simulation Center is a great place to experiment with new ideas and to try out grand plans. The Center can identify growth opportunities and point out potential missteps before they happen. It can also help its clients become more efficient, more nimble, and more profitable as well.
