Sean Cameron running for Health and Human Performance seat.
"I think we need to communicate [with students] better"
only one person running so it is a plurality vote (only one senator needs to vote for him to be elected)
Proxy Retzloff and Senator Fullhart sponsored him
UNION BOARD
Recommendation out of Union Board on the Facilities Use Fee (Henry Morris Dir. of University Involvement and overseer of CSU was here to speak)
Chairperson Abbas: "if this fee policy doesn't come into effect, within the next few years MSU students will have to subsidize other groups that use the CSU."
Henry Morris went over the proposed Facilities Use Policy in some detail.
Proxy Schriock "when will be the date of implementation"
Morris "July 1st"
Senator Mueller: Have you figured out how much money this would bring in.
Morris " This probably would bring in $15,000-$20,000

Speaker Esser passed gavel to Vice President Flynn
Proxy Tkach: Motioned that they make an acceptation and give the award to both.
Senator Fullhart: seconded
President Hammes: I think that both of these people are deserving enough that they should both be given the award
Speaker Esser: This award means so much more when only one person receives it.
Senator Johnson: I don't see what the problem is with two people getting the award.
Senator Schliecher: "The is a time to put one person in the spotlight"
Senator Alm " There are so few traditions at MSU and this is one tradition we started and I think it should be kept"

Proxy Schriock: You have a right to your opinion and to stick with it. I'm not mad at your decision, I should hope people wouldn't be mad at what I did.
