Mass Transit Hearing Tuesday, Sept. 23. Citizens of the Advisory Team will be giving recommendations on the city bus line. They would like input. We need to impress on the community and work force that this is important to students. Currently you can buy a bus pass for $40.00 that is good all over the city.
MSUSA –Five students from MSU will be going to Winona for Conference. Metro State has declared a moratorium on incoming International Students for the summer and fall 2004. This and other
policies will be discussed at the Conference. We have had no discussion on this. I do not know what kind of action to take. Any position I take can be overturned by our senate. Students
can also pass resolutions here and we will take them to MSUSA. Because we have not had
active committees prior to this time we will get information back to you. We should think about
the position we want to take.
Elections are Sept. 23.
We only have 14 senators currently, but I want an understanding you are to be putting in
two hours of office time. I will talk to the Academic Chair because we do have a grade appeal
coming forward. We need training on this because currently I am the only one that knows how to do an appeal. We will get that information out to senators that are interested in working on this.
