During the Student Forum portion of the MSSA senate meetings, students can voice concerns or ideas to the senate. When student forum is announced, the MSSA speaker will call for any students wishing to speak to come foreward to the podium and state their name. The student will then be allowed to speak. After the student is finished, the speaker will ask if he or she will take questions. If the student will, the speaker will allow senators to ask the student questions about their presentation.
Meetings are held Wednesdays at 4:00 pm in room CSU 284. Meetings are open to the public, and students are encouraged to attend. A general agenda is as follows:
Meetings can last from an hour (very rare) to six hours (hopefully very rare). Usually meetings last somewhere in between. Meetings are run by the Speaker and operate under Roberts Rules of Order.
