Dale Haefner

Performance Series Director
Music Industry Studies

"Working with Dale Haefner as a Music Industry Practicum student was an awesome experience that I truly value. I was in charge of a number of public relations duties, made arrangements  with visiting guest artists, and performed a number of other business-related activities. I know this will help me in the future because I am now more comfortable working in a real-world music business environment.” -- Abbie Christensen, BS, Music Industry

Over a month-long period in their Music Management/Concert Production course, Music Industry students worked under the guidance of Professor Dale Haefner in order to gain some real-life experience in the music industry field, producing a quality off-campus concert at a local club.

"It's satisfying to get real hands-on experience.” It's much better than just reading a book and taking a test like in other classes." -- Ben Wieman, BS, Music Industry

Dale Haefner serves as the Music Performance Series Director and teaches upper level courses in Music Industry at the University.
