
Dale Haefner serves as the Music Performance Series Director and teaches upper level courses in Music Industry, Class Piano and Piano Proficiency at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He has played a critical role in initiating an annual Music Performance Series at the University. The Series is currently in its 15th year at the University. In addition to performances, the Series offers a wide variety of educational workshops, clinics and outreach opportunities for the region. Mr. Haefner is solely responsible for generating significant resources to maintain the artistic, personnel and operating costs of the series. Haefner's passion is presenting a wide variety of fresh, contemporary and ethnically diverse programming to the university community and to the regional area. He provides leadership in the promotion of the Department of Music's artistic season including faculty recitals and student ensemble concerts and is experienced in grant writing, friend and fundraising and coordinating educational outreach programs and services. Dale Haefner received his baccalaureate degree in Music Industry and his Master of Science degree in Arts Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Dale Haefner has served on a number of arts boards in the region and holds memberships in the National Association of Performing Arts Presenters, the Music & Entertainment Industry Educators Association, Minnesota Citizens for the Arts and the Minnesota Presenters Network.
