Minnesota Women's Leadership Institute Pictures of Women

Every woman has leadership potential.

The Midwest Women's Leadership Institute at Minnesota State University, Mankato will help her realize her potential.

Through the experts you'll hear, the fellow participants you'll meet and a variety of learning experiences, you'll be inspired to seek, recognize, and accept opportunities to lead.

Together with fellow participants, you'll take part in formal sessions as well as creative learning experiences that involve large and small group interaction. Meals and free time will provide opportunities to visit and network. You'll live together in the brand-new Julia A. Sears Hall—a state-of-the-art housing facility that encourages residents to gather in its several welcoming and open meeting spaces.

Institute faculty will match each participant with an advisor, and you'll work together during the week-long Institute and beyond through a closed online social network.

Shared Knowledge

Through small group interactions with fellow participants, presenters and advisors, you'll process the new knowledge you're gaining through the Institute, add to it, and apply it to your own leadership goals and potential.

A Network That Lasts

During the Institute, you'll learn to use video conferencing and other technologies for ongoing interaction with peers and advisors. You'll be part of a learning community which will stay connected beyond the Institute through a closed online social network.
