Approximately 85 miles southwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota State Mankato sits atop 303 acres overlooking the Minnesota River Valley; Greater Mankato has a population of nearly 50,000.

Participants will live in the new Julia A. Sears Residence Hall, which opened in August 2008 and features semi-suites (with two rooms per bathroom), air conditioning, sound-resistant walls, closets, Internet jacks, kitchen and laundry facilities, and several lounge and gathering areas. The Hall is near the Centennial Student Union and other facilities where sessions will be held.
