The host facility for NALS 2012 is the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico, owned by the Isleta Pueblo which was established in the 1300s. All participants are required to arrange their own travel to and from the conference and book their own hotel rooms. Air Travel Book your flights into Albuquerque, New Mexico. Information about the City of Albuquerque: http://www.cabq.gov/. Hotel Rooms Guest room rates are $139 based on single/double occupancy. There is a $10 charge for each additional person with a maximum of 5 people per room. Mention you are with the Native American Literature Symposium or the group code NAL0312 to receive the special group rate. The cut-off date for reservations is February 27, 2012. After that date the unreserved portion of our guestroom block will be released and any reservation requests received after this date will be subject to standard guest room rates and availability. Ground Transportation The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is located 7 minutes south of the Albuquerque airport. The complimentary airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Room Sharing NALS will help people interested in sharing a room get in contact with one another, but will not arrange room sharing or splitting costs between participants.
