The Sexual Violence Education Program in the Women’s Center would like to formally invite you and all MSU, Mankato employees to the first installment of the Violence-Free Zone Workshop. This training, much like the Safe-Zone Training functions for LGBTA issues, will cover basic information about sexual violence, intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual harassment. It will also provide tools for how to respond and refer when confronted with these issues. This activity-based workshop will certify you as an ally and someone who students can turn to when experiencing these issues.
Please join me, Lauren Pilnick the Sexual Violence Education Coordinator on April 8th, 2008 from 1:00-3:00pm in CSU 238, the Nickerson Room, for this informative training and refreshments at one of the first Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities.
RSVP is required as space is limited. Please respond by Monday, April 7th at 10 a.m.
I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, April 8th!
