On 02/06/2009 Security was notified by the Mankato Police Department that a sexual assault had occurred in an MSU residence hall.
Information was collected that the individual involved in the assault had been identified and is an acquaintance of the victim.
The victim reported the incident to police and received support services from Blue Earth County.
The investigation was handled by the Mankato Police Department.
