Mankato Public Safety-police investigators have identified the suspect in the recent sexual assault that occurred on February 7 in the Performing Arts Center at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
The female victim reported to police that she was grabbed in a sexually aggressive manner by a male suspect.
Investigators have received information that the suspect is no longer in hte Mankato area, and are working with investigators from agencies where the suspect is believed to be.
This case remains ongoing and more information will be released when the suspect is formally charged.
