Personal Safety Alert - Assault

On October 10, 2010, MSU Security and Mankato Police responded to the report of a theft that occurred in an MSU residence hall. During the course of the investigation, Police gathered information regarding an assault that also occurred during the incident.

On October 10, 2010, MSU Security and Mankato Police responded to the report of a theft that occurred in an MSU residence hall. During the course of the investigation, Police gathered information regarding an assault that also occurred during the incident.

A suspect was identified and the Mankato Police are currently looking for a male MSU student to interview regarding the theft and assault. Without being able to verify further information, the level of potential threat to the campus community is not able to be determined at this time.

Assistance is being requested in locating Quyumba Wilson. Wilson is described as a black male, 5 foot 6 inches, 165 pounds, black hair and hazel eyes. Police are not asking for assistance in approaching the individual, but rather to receive information regarding his location.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr. Wilson, is urged to contact the Mankato Police at 387-8700.
