Student Activities would like to invite the students, faculty, and staff of Minnesota State University, Mankato to celebrate the success of campus leadership and programming for the 2010-2011 academic year. Nominations and applications for the annual Student Activities and Leadership Awards are being accepted at this time. Nominations for these awards recognize individuals and organizations for their outstanding leadership and involvement throughout the campus and the community.
Students, faculty and staff, and RSOs play a big part in providing a quality experience for the MSU community. Student Activities would like to acknowledge them for their efforts and contributions. Some of the awards that have been presented in the past include: Leadership and Action Award, Outstanding RSO Advisor, Maverick Spirit Award, Program of the Year, Outstanding Student Organization, and Volunteer of the Year.
A description of past awards and a copy of the nomination form will be available on the RSO website beginning February 1, 2011. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, visit http://www.mnsu.edu/activities/rso/awards.html to download an application. Completed nomination forms, accompanied with an attached letter of recommendation, should be e-mailed to activities@mnsu.edu no later than 5:00 PM Friday, March 18th. Award recipients will be formally recognized at the Student Activity and Leadership Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at 4 PM in Centennial Student Union 253/254/255.
