A panel of nontraditional students will share their educational challenges and experiences in a public event at Minnesota State Mankato Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012.

The discussion, sponsored by the university’s Nontraditional Students Office, is intended to enlighten students, employees and the public about the challenges and joys of “nontrad” life.

The event will be from 4-6 p.m. in Ostrander Auditorium of the Centennial Student Union. It is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

The nontraditional student panel members will introduce themselves, explain what makes them nontraditional students, and answer questions. A short presentation about nontraditional students will follow.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 15,649 students, is part of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system, which comprises 32 state institutions.
