On Friday, February 10th, the MSU-Mankato Forensics Team traveled to the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire to compete at the Love Fest Tournament, hosted by UWEC and Ripon College. Eighteen teams competed, and specific results are as follows:
Day 1: Nicole Hudak took 5th place in Poetry Interpretation
Skylar Carlson took 5th place in After Dinner Speaking
Jordan Christiansen took 4th place in Prose Interpretation
Megan Nutting took 4th place in Dramatic Interpretation
Ryan Zahn took 3rd place in After Dinner Speaking
Ryan Zahn took 2nd place in Communication Analysis
Bradford Wakefield took 2nd place in After Dinner Speaking
Jordan Christiansen took 2nd place in Poetry Interpretation
The MSU-Mankato team placed 4th in Team Sweeps for the day

Cade Shelton took 5th place in Dramatic Interpretation

Ryan Zahn took 3rd in Extemporaneous Speaking
Bradford Wakefield took 2nd place in After Dinner Speaking
The MSU-Mankato team placed 4th in Team Sweeps for the day Bradford Wakefield also placed 5th in Individual Sweepstakes for the weekend, and the team tied for 2nd place for the weekend, taking 3rd place overall.
