MANKATO — The Minnesota State University Student Association recently won the 2012 Friend of the Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities Award.
Every year the coalition recognizes individuals and organizations that have been strong allies in advancing the interests of Greater Minnesota communities.
The student association was recognized because of its strong advocacy of the coalition’s Greater Minnesota Internship Program legislation, which was an economic development proposal aimed at building relationships between Greater Minnesota employers and students.
