The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is the most highly recognized and respected professional certifications among financial service professionals. This is due to its rigorous educational and examination requirements as well as the demanding standards and Code of Ethics that are administered by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
Financial Planning Certificate at
Minnesota State University, Mankato
Our program boasts:
- Flexibility: Several courses are offered each session at a variety of locations.
- Qualified faculty: The faculty are experienced financial planning professionals with CFP® certification, CPA, ChFC or JD Designations.
- Certificate in Financial Planning: Students who successfully complete all six courses with a "B" average receive an MSU Certificate in Financial Planning
Earning the CFP® Certification also requires passing the comprehensive exam administered by the CFP Board of Standards, Inc.
CFP® certification identifies to the public that those individuals have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients.
Register for the CFP® Exam
If you have successfully completed the education requirement for CFP® Certification by completing the Financial Planning Certificate program, it's time to register for the CFP® Certification Examination.
