Financial Planning Certificate at
Minnesota State University, Mankato

Minnesota State University, Mankato has a classroom-based program and anonline program and is designed to fulfill the education requirement for CFP® Certification.

Our program boasts:

• Flexibility: Several courses are offered each session at a variety of locations.
• Qualified faculty: The faculty are experienced financial planning professionals with CFP® certification, CPA, ChFC or JD Designations.
• Certificate in Financial Planning: Students who successfully complete all six courses with a "B" average receive an MSU Certificate in Financial Planning

Earning the CFP® Certification also requires passing the comprehensive exam administered by the CFP Board of Standards, Inc.

What is the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification?

CFP® certification identifies to the public that those individuals have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence when dealing with clients.

 

Register for the CFP® Exam

If you have successfully completed the education requirement for CFP® Certification by completing the Financial Planning Certificate program, it's time to register for the CFP® Certification Examination.
