Phillip Phillips Headlines April 10 Concert at Minnesota State Mankato
Mankato, MN— Phillip Phillips, American Idol Season 11 winner and triple platinum recording artist, will perform at Minnesota State University, Mankato on April 10, 2013, in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom at 8 p.m. Sponsored by the IMPACT Programming Board, Phillips and a special guest will perform for Minnesota State University students and the general public as IMPACT’s spring concert. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Phillips’ hit single “Home” sees sales over 3.4 million making it the most successful coronation song of any American Idol winner. Phillips first album, “The World From The Side Of The Moon,” debuted at Number 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart in November. Phillips’ new single, “Gone. Gone, Gone,” is currently climbing the charts. In addition to recently touring with Matchbox 20, Phillips has been on The Ellen Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and on the premiere of American Idol Season 12. The IMPACT board, advised by staff in the Student Activities Office, plans events funded through student activity fees.
