Mental Toughness Training in Running Workshops
Preparing for a big race this October? Prepare mentally to run your best and make your physical training count!
The Center for Sport and Performance Psychology is proud to offer a series of workshops this Fall to help you mentally prepare to run your best. We want to build the most mentally tough runners in the NATION. Please join us to learn how to use your mind to be your best!
The series of workshops are open to high school and college runners as well as those running a race this upcoming October such as the Mankato Marathon 5K, 10K, 1/2 marathon or marathon, or the Chicago Marathon.
You will learn about how to overcome the top 5 mental barriers that runners experience, what you should be thinking about before and during the race, and mental tools that you can apply to your running to be your best! Make all of your physical training and running for your race count by learning how to use your mind.

WHEN: Sundays, September 8th, 15th, 22nd, October 16th and 13th.
*Chicago Marathon Runners: Last day held Tuesday, October 8th
WHERE: 80 Taylor Center (classroom under Bresnan Arena on Minnesota State, Mankato's campus)
COST: $50 for all 5 workshops ($35 for students - please bring student ID to first workshop)
