Academic Advising 101

This workshop will be offered twice! We will meet Tuesday October 22th at 3:30 PM and Wednesday October 23rd at 4:00 PM in Wiecking Center Room 322, this is the conference room connected to the SSS computer lab.   This workshop offers resources for general education advising and general information about making an academic plan for graduation. This information is pertinent to first year students through seniors. Students will have the opportunity to print off their Degree Audit Report, learn about the different Gen Ed requirements and ask questions about upper division courses and other credit options like study abroad, conferences, independent study etc.   Email if interested in any of the workshops, drop-ins are always welcome!   To be considered an active participant in the program and remain eligible for services, a student must meet with his/her SSS advisor at least once in a semester and have two additional contacts. Workshops are a great way to get a contact!   If you are unable to attend a workshop but would be interested in the information, feel free to contact  Karina would be happy to share the resources provided in the workshop or offer the information in a one on one setting.   SSS WORKSHOP SERIES FALL 2013 Need at contact?
