Mankato, Minn. – Nine Minnesota State University, Mankato student organizations and IMPACT, the student programming arm of the university’s Centennial Student Union, will host the third annual CSU “Haunted Takeover” on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

The event will feature a variety of decorated rooms on all three levels of Centennial Student Union, offering guests different experiences in each room. Rooms in past years have included clowns, zombie attacks and more.

The event is open to the general public (ages 18 years and older) and the campus community. All guests must wear closed-toe shoes and costumes are encouraged.

There will be a haunted house that will be free to students with their MavCARD and $5 for general admission. To prepare for the haunted house, Centennial Student Union will close at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

In addition to the Centennial Student Union “Haunted Takeover,” Crawford Residence Hall will host its own haunted house from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 in the Carkoski Commons basement.

Guests who attend both events will have the opportunity to win a gift basket.
