MANKATO, Minn. – Travel back in time all the way to the ’50s, visit a Great Gatsby party and dance disco style in the ’80s during Mavericks After Dark: Time Warp at 9 p.m., Saturday, March 29 in the lower level of the Minnesota State University, Mankato's Centennial Student Union
IMPACT presents MAD’s “Mavericks Time Warp.” This event will be free to Minnesota State University, Mankato students and the Mankato community. It will include 50’s Diner with free assorted finger sandwiches, along with potato chips, an 80’s dance party and a classy Great Gatsby party with punch and cake.
A tarot reader will be there to read the people’s past and future. For horror film fans old horror movie clips will be shown in TV lounge.
People will be able to decorate their own mask with feathers and jewels and if they are willing - take an old time photo.

"Mavericks Time Warp" is one of seven "Mavericks After Dark" events sponsored each year by IMPACT, a student programming board at Minnesota State Mankato. These events are intended to provide an alternative to at-risk behaviors. The programming is part of an ongoing effort at Minnesota State Mankato to create a positive campus environment through fun and engaging activities.
IMPACT is the student programming board of the Centennial Student Union. The board, advised by staff in the Student Activities Office, plans events funded through student activity fees.
