Honors Welcomes New Graduate Assistant

The Honors Program welcomes a new member to their staff

A large welcome to our new Graduate Assistant, Ashley Kanak! Ashley comes from a military family and has lived in many different states and even overseas. She has spent most of her time in central Georgia living at Warner Robins Air Force Base. She attended Georgia College and State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education specializing in Exercise Science. She spent the next summer working at an all girls’ camp in New Hampshire where her desire to inspire and motivate children was sparked. Shortly after returning, she began looking at graduate schools and was given a great opportunity to attend MSU and work with the Honors Program. She is currently studying to get a graduate degree in Educational Leadership and hopefully inspire others to better their mentorship skills.
