Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato officials will be presented on Friday, April 25 with a school T-shirt that has made quite a trek in getting back home.

On Friday he will present University officials with a shirt that was part of a NASA flight to the International Space Station.

The shirt, now encased in a frame, will be given to Minnesota State Mankato along with a photograph of the shirt in the International Space Station. The gifts will be presented at 1 p.m. Friday in the Hearth Lounge in the lower level of the Centennial Student Union.

Neischwitz’s team is responsible for ensuring the health, fitness and safety of astronauts from suiting up to navigating zero-gravity situations. He will discuss his work in a presentation at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 in Room 245 of the Centennial Student Union. The talk is free and open to the public, as is the presentation on Friday.
