Sign up to be a part of a two-day leadership development program to help students acquire various political strategies/skills.


 When: Friday, March 25th, 3:00-6:00 pm & Saturday, March 26th, 9:00-4:00 

Where: Armstrong Hall 201

What: Campus Camp Wellnestone is a two-day leadershiop development program to help students acquire specific strategies for grassroots organizing, forming community coalitions, and developing campaigns on various social issues. The program was started to honor the legacy of the late U.S. Senator from Minnesota, Paul Wellstone and his wife Sheila Wellstone. The training is highly interactive and participatory. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Why do this? You will gain leadership skills and learn how to make a difference on campus and in your communities. You will build your resume and develop tangible skills to use in professional contexts. 

What to expect: An interactive, high-energy, problem-solving environment for all types of learners. You will practice concrete skills, such as strategic planning, power mapping, grassroots organizing, and message development. 

The workshop is free for MSU students, staff, and community members, thanks to the Department of Communication Studies and a generous donation from the Andreas family to the College of Arts and Humanities at Minnesota State University, Mankato. 

**This is a two-day workshop and you are asked to attend both days.
