Contruction Management Accreditation Renewed

American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) Reaccredits Construction Management Degree

July 2016 -The Board of Trustees of the American Council for Construction Education announces the renewal of accreditation of the Construction Management Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato.  The Program has maintained the stringent standards of ACCE, and has proven to the Board, through a visiting team of its peers and industry practitioners, that the program is worthy of reaccreditation.

The Construction Management Program began in 1974 to fill a need for college graduates who combined management skills with knowledge of the construction industry. The program was first accredited by the American Council for Construction Education in 2011. Currently the program of approximately 240 students utilizes five full-time faculty and six part-time faculty. Our graduates are prepared to become successful project managers in the construction industry.

The American Council for Construction Education was established in 1974 to be a leading global advocate of quality construction education, and to promote, support, and accredit quality construction education programs around the world.  ACCE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation as the accrediting agency for four-year baccalaureate degree programs in Construction, Construction Science, Construction Management and Construction Technology, and the accrediting agency for two-year associate degree programs of a similar nature.
