Minnesota State GeoWall Team Places Eighth at Nationals
The Geotechnical Engineering students placed eighth at the 2017 National GeoWall Competition.
The Geotechnical Engineering Club competed for the first time at the National GeoWall Competition. Twenty teams competed this year and our team represented Mankato exceptionally well. They beat teams from Arizona State, Oregon State, the University of Kansas, UCLA, and UC-Davis. The overall winner was Cal State Fullerton, which has won three of the past four years.
We are proud of the team, especially since they are competing as an exclusively undergraduate team against mainly graduate program teams.
