Minnesota State University students who live on campus will have voting sites near or in their respective residence halls. They can also register to vote at these locations.

Crawford and McElroy residents vote in the McElroy Lobby. All of the Gage residents vote in the Gage Welcome Lounge. To register to vote, students need to show proof of residency, which can be done with any of the following methods:

  • A current Minnesota driver's license, permit or state identification card.
  • A student photo ID card or fee statement with a current address.
  • A utility bill (plus photo ID) with payment due date within 30 days of the election.
  • For tribal band members, an ID Card issued by the tribal government recognized by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
  • A notice of late registration postcard.

To find other voting locations, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State's web site.
