Students at Minnesota State Mankato and South Central College have completed a parks and recreation promotional project for the city of New Prague.

On Tuesday, Dec. 5, The University's Urban and Regional Studies Institute will present the completed project overview to the New Prague Park Board.

Students in URSI and in South Central College's Applied Graphics Production worked with the park board to produce an eight-page, full-color informational brochure promoting New Prague's parks and recreational opportunities. This applied-learning experience involved research, design and production.

This is the third project in which students created official promotional materials for cities as an applied-learning project. Similar projects were previously undertaken for St. Peter and Janesville.
