The New Prague Park board is uniting with Urban and Regional Studies students for its park and recreation promotions. A KEYC-TV report tells more, at http://www.keyc.tv/article/view/112000/
MSU's urban and regional studies students, along with South Central College's applied graphics productions students, worked with the city's park board to produce an informational brochure promoting city parks and recreational opportunities.
The applied learning experience included the research, design and production of an eight page, full color brochure that highlights New Prague's Park system. It highlights one of their special features: their city parks. It gives all the whole city a pamphlet to look at, and it highlights all the parks in the city.
The students presented a project overview to the park board at the New Prague City Hall Dec. 5. The brochure will be available at city hall all month long.
