Students voted to reject the Outdoor Recreation, Athletic, & Fitness Facilities Proposal in MSSA elections April 10.
The proposal would have been paid by student fees over the next 15 years. It included two propositions to upgrade recreation fields, athletic fields and fitness facilities at two different funding levels.
A total of 3,010 students cast ballots in the recreation facilities initiative. The results:
Neither proposition A or B: 1,692
For proposition A & B: 831
For proposition A: 487
