KMSU-FM 89.7 will have special programming Tuesday, April 17, addressing Monday’s shootings at Virginia Tech.
Faculty and staff from the Department of Health Science, Counseling Center, and United Campus Ministry at Minnesota State Mankato have been invited to join Acting Operations Director Greg Husak from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday on “Minnesota Morning.”
“The discussion will be focused on helping students and others to emotionally deal with this tragedy, and on making everyone aware of services on campus to help anyone having emotional health issues at any time,” Husak said.
“We intend to have a respectful conversation about a difficult topic, and have assembled a panel of experts who will provide important information on the issue,” Husak said.
KMSU-FM, 89.7 “The Maverick,” presents a wide range of news, information and music programming aimed at both the campus and the broader community. The station is a member of Independent Public Radio, a consortium of 12 independently licensed and managed community-based public radio stations in Minnesota.
