Another saturation patrol by law enforcement officers with the State Patrol, Mankato Police and Blue Earth County Sheriff’s departments resulted in more than two dozen citations for underage drinking Friday.
A total of 27 people were cited for underage drinking during the patrol at apartment complexes surrounding the Minnesota State University campus. Two people also were cited for having an open bottle in public.
A total of six officers participated in the state-funded NightCap Junior patrol. A similar patrol one week earlier resulted in 50 underage drinking citations.
