The new design for Minnesota State Mankato's attention-getting billboards and bus wraps has one powerful goal: Drive viewers to the university's new home Web page.
The new billboards and bus wraps keep key elements of past designs, including the big flame, the "shimmer" and the school colors, but this time the designs use a horizontal logo to free up space for the bold URL of the home page.
Minnesota State Mankato has new billboards at 11 locations in the Twin Cities, including three new locations aimed at commuters from the western suburbs (an important area for the new Minnesota State Mankato at 7700 France) and the St. Cloud region (the only region of the state that will show an increase in high school graduates in coming years).
As before, the bus wrap runs through downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, past the University of Minnesota campus and through the southwestern suburbs.
