The event, open to students, faculty, staff and the public, will start at 6 p.m. in Centennial Student Union. South Asian Night focuses on the culture of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

A variety of authentic South Asian dishes will be served at 6 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union lower level. A program of cultural information and entertainment will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the ballroom.

“The event showcases our unique differences, even though we have similarities,” said event emcee and Pakistani Student Association President Ather Syed.

Tickets may be purchased for both the dining and entertainment segments of the event, or for the entertainment program only. Full tickets are $8 general admission and $6 for students with MavCards. Tickets for the entertainment program are $2.
