The city of Mankato has declared a snow emergency effective at 8 a.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 9). The snow emergency means there is no parking on Mankato streets, so snow can be removed quickly and efficiently.
The only exception to the no-parking regulation is where streets are posted "Seasonal no parking" (affecting only a small number of streets in the city).
