Minnesota State Mankato’s Memorial Library will honor faculty authors Friday, April 24, with its second campus-wide reception.
The event, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Lass Center for Minnesota Studies (second floor of the library), is free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public.
Faculty authors or editors of books published from March 2008 through March 2009 will be honored. All of the books are included in the Minnesota State Mankato Authors Collection housed in the university archives.
The Authors’ Collection – part of the Memorial Library holdings – document the intellectual heritage of the university and the contributions of the campus community to contemporary scholarship.
