Good seats still available for Oct. 4 Timberwolves game

Tickets at three campus locations Saturday, Sunday

Tickets are still available for Sunday’s Bresnan Arena exhibition game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Minnesota State Mankato’s sport management students are promoting the game through a partnership with the Timberwolves. The Taylor Center game is at 5 p.m.; doors open at 4 p.m.

Tickets ($35, $50 and $70) are available at two campus locations Saturday and one Sunday:

• At the president’s free homecoming pancake feed Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Maverick Midway (next to Blakeslee Stadium);
• At the Maverick Midway (Blakeslee Stadium) Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., before the homecoming football game;
• And at the Bresnan Arena Box Office on Sunday. The box office opens at 3 p.m.

Although a number of good seats still are available, game coordinators are urging people to purchase tickets early Saturday.

Sunday’s game is one of many Homecoming Week events at the university; several other events feature appearances by Wolves players and cheer teams.
